Colt Compton is a multi-instrumentalist and composer. His music has been featured in publications, video games, year’s best albums, and he has released four albums of original music in a wide variety of styles, including Mouse Shadow (African funk), I Can’t Tell You What You Mean to Me (R&B/Rock), Paper Lantern (Jazz), and Soundtrack to a Film that Hasn’t Been Made Yet (Film Soundtrack). In 2022, he received his Master’s in Music, and he is currently a PhD candidate and instructor at Texas Tech University. He is an active musician in the West Texas area, and the Music Director for the band Baile Inolvidable.
